Roll your conditioned clay slab onto your tile. Once your clay is secure and smooth on your tile, take your cutter and tap it into cornstarch (this will keep your cutter from sticking to your clay). Next, press your cutter into your clay firmly and evenly. When you feel your clay is cut through all the way and evenly, wiggle your cutter a bit and pull straight up. If there is any excess clay left on your cutter, you can wipe clean with an alchohol wipe to remove excess residue or color left from the clay.
